Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics which regards particles as consisting of quanta, of which one or more properties at any one time does not have a fixed value, but is described by a complex number, its wave function. When particles interact, they form quantum systems, whose wave function is determined at the level of the whole system, and is not the sum of the wave functions of its constituent parts.
How can we know whether phenomena are real?
Firstly, we must ask ourselves what will change if we stop believing in some phenomenon. If we have no particular reason to believe that the phenomenon will cease to exist when we stop believing in it, then that phenomenon could possibly be real.
If you enclose a quantum system with another quantum system that will only interact with the first under certain specific conditions, the first system will resonate until those conditions are reached.
