The core phenomena are the phenomena which underlie all other domains, and as such, would need to be explained, rather than axiomatically assumed, by any self-respecting theory of everything.
From a QO perspective, these core phenomena are as follows.
- there is something, rather than nothing
- observations of how quantum systems behave
- what time is, and why it behaves as it does
- what produces natural law, and how natural law operates
- why we observe some phenomena to be unchanging
- why the universe appears to contain purposed phenomena, in particular by being fine-tuned for life.
These phenomena are each described in more detail in the corresponding 'phenomena' lemmas.
